An overview of the Segments on Sprinkle, with a walkthrough on how to use it to generate reports.
The Segment is a report that gives a deep analysis of a particular dimension.
A Model is needed to create segments. By choosing dimensions and measures on your model, segments can be created. Dimensions are used to bucket or group the measures example by country, city, or region.
There can be multiple dimensions in a model, for example, total sales by a country, top 10 users by the sum of sales, etc. Here total sale is a measure, the country is a dimension. By choosing the country as the dimension see the total sales by a country. Thus, multiple segments reports can be created from a model.
