We’ve rolled out some important improvements and fixes to make your reporting and dashboard experience smoother, faster, and more reliable.

🚀 Dashboard Cache Enhancements

We’ve introduced major improvements to speed up how quickly dashboards load — especially those secured with Row-Level Security (RLS).

✨ What’s New

1. Faster First Load (Now Works for RLS Dashboards Too) Dashboards will now load from cache even when RLS is applied. If you open a dashboard with RLS values that have already been cached, you’ll see the results instantly — no waiting for a fresh run.

2. Cache Also Works for Embedded Dashboards Whether you’re accessing dashboards inside the platform or via embedded views, cached results will be served whenever available.

3. Dashboard-Level Cache Expiry Settings You can now configure how long the cache should stay valid. Adjust the expiry duration based on the freshness needs of each dashboard.

This improvement works best when RLS values are shared across many users. If most users have unique RLS combinations, dashboards may still refresh on open, and caching benefits will be limited.

🖥️ Improved Usability for Embedded Dashboards

Visible Horizontal and Vertical Scrollbars Embedded dashboards now include both horizontal and vertical scrollbars, making it easier for users to navigate wide tables, large visuals, and detailed dashboard layouts without layout cuts or hidden content.

This enhancement ensures a smoother viewing experience across different screen sizes and embed contexts.
