📶 Filters in SQL Reports

Our latest update brings Filters to SQL reports, allowing you to define and customize filter variables for more interactive data exploration.

Here’s how to use it:

• A new Filter side panel has been introduced on the left.

• Click "Add Filter" to create and name your filter.

• Choose from supported data types (Text, Numeric, Date).

• Customize Input Methods: Select how users will interact with the filter, with options for Pick List, Multi-select Pick List, and Type-in Pick List.

• Map Values and Set Defaults: Define which column will supply values by mapping a table column, then set a default operator and value.

• Use in SQL Queries: Include filters in SQL queries with syntax:

 WHERE 
 {{ filterName % columnName % }}

• In View Mode, adjust filters and operators on the fly, making it easy to dive into your data from multiple perspectives.

⽥ Table & Pivot Enhancements

Our new layout options make table formatting smoother and more adaptable for various viewing modes:

• Alignment Options: Align tables left, center, or right to create a clean, well-spaced dashboard layout.

• Uniform Column Width: Standardize column widths for easier readability, or use Fit to Entire Width for tables that auto-resize to fit available screen space.

• This flexibility ensures your tables look sharp in dashboard grid mode, tab mode, and full screen.

Additional Updates

Combo Chart Axis Formatting:

• Customize the color of the secondary X-axis on combo charts to differentiate it from other gridlines.

Enhanced Mobile Table Experience:

• In mobile view, column headers will remain fixed during scrolling (when zoom is off), making it easier to browse tables.

• When zoom is on, you can pinch to zoom in and out, but header fixation is disabled.

Streamlined Format Section:

• Toggle settings faster with newly accessible toggle buttons.

• We’ve also simplified the application process by removing unnecessary Apply buttons and placing key Apply buttons in a sticky header for easy access.
